ACADEMIC COACH

TERM TIME + 10 DAYS
Salary Pts. 30-33 - £24,162-£26,593 (£21,316-£23,460 pro rata for term time working)
Start date: Monday 24th August 2020.


Our academic coaching team provides our Level 3 16-19 year old student cohort with individualised support and challenge which stretches their potential to the full. You will be required to manage a caseload of students delivering weekly tutorial sessions and individual 1:1s, agreeing motivational targets, monitoring performance, and encouraging students’ preparation for employment or further/higher education. You will be responsible for completion and submission of UCAS applications where applicable and providing references for both higher education and employment.

You will have previous experience of working with young people in a school or college setting or through youth or social work or similar, be a good team player and have good organisational and communication skills.

CV’s are not accepted and the College application form must be fully completed in order to be considered for the post.
